Assignment for Perspective class, 2-point vertical perspective.
I'll just upload the lines now. I hope I get around to coloring this, if I do then I'll move it to scraps.
N'awww, he's got writer's block. (is that what you'd call it?) I've wanted to draw Suzu at his piano, but I never did because I was afraid of drawing the piano. And for good reason. D8
This one didn't get into the Spring Show, and I can see why. The composition is just a little off.
it's so good you're learning perspective, it'll help you so much. you're already great at the figure and most people just stop there :coughcough me coughcough:
minor quibble: i think the legs of the stool and maybe the piano are too long. from that high an angle, they seem more bar stool height.
This is beautiful. <3 I love pianos-- no joke, and you drew it so well~! Like, I really just want to find all the synonyms to amazing that I possibly can and say them about this. I can't wait for the coloured version, if you are able to do one.
i think this is probably the best picture of a piano i've ever seen in my life. and how you did the hand actually playing the piano is amazing. it doesn't matter if you got your perspective a tiny bit off- this is a really great picture!
I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P

minor quibble: i think the legs of the stool and maybe the piano are too long. from that high an angle, they seem more bar stool height.
