EDIT: I fixed some things in the drawing and I realized that I like it a bit more without the text, so now that the contest is LONG over, I'm changing it to this. :0

I know I should be working on commissions, I am terrible, you may stone me.

But ~ireners showed me this contest and convinced me to join... orz And this was useful practice for me anyway. I'm getting the hang of Painter. Though I'm still not great at graphic design lol.

Description: Nana has strange dreams. In these dreams, a nameless hero fights off a great demoness and her hordes of minions, endlessly, until her strength is about to fail. Nana's life in the waking world is far from perfect, and as the dreams get increasingly more vivid, she starts to believe she can somehow help that nameless hero to defeat the demoness once and for all. With this, the hero and the demoness are released from her dreams and start to interfere with her life. Nana's psychiatrist is convinced it can all be explained by an onset of schizophrenia, but Nana resists this thought with all her might. As things spiral downward and Nana is caught in between two worlds that may or may not actually exist, she risks losing her sense of self entirely.

As you can probably tell, this is a completely new story lol. I decided to do this one because when I showed the sketches to people, there seemed to be a lot of impact. Besides, it was a little more exciting doing an illustration for a contest of something I haven't run through in my head thousands of times already... it's sort of taking a risk for me. (this is how far my willful risk taking ever goes lol)
Also notice there are no guys in this story. Not a single one. /unheardof

I really love your concept. I swear, you come up with the best stuff. I always have ideas here and there, but it's hard to put them into a cohesive story. And the design of your cover is really gorgeous. Very nice on my eyes. I'm in love with the glow of the demoness and the shadows of the ribs.
